Our clients rely on us to manage the day-to-day detail of running their business, from complex diary management and travel coordination to executive administration and operational support. They choose WPA because they want experienced support they can rely on, without needing to manage or oversee it.

The Opportunity

This is a self-employed Associate opportunity for experienced Executive Assistants who have chosen to work remotely while maintaining the standards expected within a corporate environment.

As a WPA Associate, you'll support a range of clients across different industries, becoming a trusted extension of their business. Every client is different, but all expect an Executive Assistant who is organised, dependable, proactive and capable of taking ownership.

Availability during UK business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm) is essential.

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity is best suited to former corporate Executive Assistants with significant experience supporting senior stakeholders in fast-paced business environments.

Our ideal Associates:

  • Have at least 10 years' Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant experience.

  • Have supported founders, CEOs, Managing Directors or other senior leaders.

  • Are self-employed and committed to building their Executive Assistant business.

  • Are available and responsive during agreed working hours.

  • Have excellent written and spoken English.

  • Take ownership of their work and think ahead.

  • Communicate professionally and confidently with clients and stakeholders.

  • Are calm under pressure and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Have exceptional attention to detail.

  • Deliver work accurately rather than rushing to complete tasks.

  • Are comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Typical Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on the client but may include:

  • Complex diary and inbox management.

  • Coordinating meetings involving multiple stakeholders.

  • UK and international travel planning.

  • Preparing itineraries and supporting documentation.

  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of clients.

  • Preparing agendas, board papers and meeting minutes.

  • Formatting presentations and business documents.

  • CRM management and administrative support.

  • Recruitment administration.

  • Liaising with suppliers, IT providers and external contacts.

  • Following up actions and ensuring nothing is overlooked.

Essential Requirements

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant corporate Executive Assistant experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Experience coordinating complex schedules.

  • Confidence working across multiple time zones.

  • A dedicated and professional home working environment.

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance.

  • ICO registration.

  • The ability to provide professional references.

  • The right to work in the UK.
